Project Challenges

In India, while 12% of the urban population pursues higher education only 2% of the rural population can afford to pursue the same. Major reasons for dropping out are affordability of the costs for the degree and lack of better work opportunities after the degree.

Students from low-income groups aren’t comfortable with English, while a majority of higher education material is available only in English, hence self-learning isn’t possible.

Annual fees of colleges range from 1-4lacs make it very difficult for lesser privileged kids to pursue higher studies.

There are very few seats in affordable colleges due to which aspiring students are unable to fulfil their dreams.

Results & Outcome

Ajay and Monu, are hardworking and dedicated young tribal boys from Kekadiya, Bhopal. Since beginning they showed much interest and passion towards learning new things. All they needed was the right direction and guidance. Their aspirations, hard work and dedication motivated us to put in the best available resources to help them achieve what they wanted. One year ago, Ajay and Monu received training in IT and Softskills at Navgurukul. They were then based in Dharamshala for some work. Now they are successfully placed in Jaipur with a stable job.
