Sponsor a Child with Low Financial Background to School(SAC)

Despite all the technological revolutions happening around us, it is a reality many are deprived of basic and elementary needs like food, shelter, and education. Even though government takes some steps to ensure the education to all the children in the country, the focus is usually confined to urban areas. Education is still a distant dream for many kids in the tribal area. Also, we have a lot of underprivileged kids unable to continue their education due to various circumstances in their family. This situation forces them to continue as underprivileged and keep them vulnerable to all kind of abuses, which Uthishtha is trying to make a difference with your valuable help.

We provide financial support to them and also accommodate them in hostels so they can concentrate on their education. The kids are also provided with school kits as a part of this project. We are always eager to help those less fortunate kids who are keen to gain education but lack funds for their higher studies. The total cost to Sponsor a Child would be 7500/Girl & 7000/Boy.

This cost includes school fees, hostel fees, stationery, clothes, school kit and admin expenses.

About the NGO

Uthishta is a multifaceted organization conceptualized by a small group of youngsters with a big idea, predominantly from the IT industry, in the year 2006 and came into formal existence in 2008. Uthishta primarily aims to serve people who have been socially and economically marginalized, by reaching out to them with programs to foster self-reliance and aim to reduce dependence on outside assistance. Uthishta’s activity is made possible by the generosity of donors and volunteers inspired by the spirit of service. Uthishta aims to provide all types of support and assistance to the underprivileged sections of our society. Dedicated to serve those in need we build programs such as:

• Assistance to students in education

• Deliver cost effective and culturally aligned health services to most vulnerable, including women, children and indigenous people

• Provide relief to people affected during natural/ man-made calamities

• Empowering communities and individuals through sustained support

• Conduct programs that promote cultural and moral value in society.
