About the Project

KSGVY is conducting its activities in the four talukas of Palghar district- Wada, Jawhar, Mokhada and Vikramgadh and every taluka has a different economic background & social needs. So far, distribution of 4146 school kits, water survey in 12 villages, Karyakartas study tour, agriculture expert’s visit to seven villages, Monthly meeting of volunteers, NGO representatives five meetings, plantation of 1700 plants, Madhav Sanskar Kendra in thirty villages, solar pump installation in a villages,women Self help group’s meeting to start small scale business Vanyatras to promote agrotourism- these activities have been conducted in the last six months. Also, through KSGVY forty young and enthusiastic volunteers from Urban area are associated with each village and contributing to Gram Vikas with the help of Gram Karyakarta and the villagers. It’s a great platform that helps urban people to connect with rural India. 

We want very few but highly passionate people who are willing to work on ground for the above projects.

The interns will have to choose one area of work under the guidance of KSGVY's core team The internship will be of 45 days.

Research and field work would be the nature of the internship. Food, stay and travel expenses would be taken care of.

Also, a certificate would be provided after completion of the internship successfully.
